Yes I totally agree. Fkn slam those sticks and get her rolllin......

I would be a total danger with such a plane, as I would try to hover it in my backyard........

If I remember correctly, that raven video was of the maiden....no need to take unnecessary risks in the beginning.
If you seen the maiden video of the 70% Staudacher here in the states, you would notice nothing was done, due to nervousness of the unknown.

Also if I remember correctly there is no 3d aerobatic video of the Staudacher either. Or any 70% for that matter other than overseas with the Ultimate, and the Pitts.

Im anxious to see if one ever comes out here in the US, a video mixing the ultimate in SIZE, POWER, and 3D/AEROBATIC cahones. Other than than the 50%'ers everywhere.....

OMG, how did I miss this thread for the last 3 weeks? Where have I been???

Wow, that is one cool Ultimate! I would love to have that plane and fly it like they do! Definatley need to find out the motor/prop combination. I think that plane is a little too big for the US market, but only by a little, remember we have to stay under 100 pounds! I could definatley seeing myself fly that in the TAS or something similar!!!

I have begun the next transision to larger airplanes. Coming next month, I will have the new 60% Extra 260's and the 60% Clipped Wing Cubs! The Ultimate sure would be nice in the 275cc range!!! Ok, I will go draw something up and see what size it would have to be!

Cool threrad~!

You are correct on the Staudacher, actually it was only flown once, had a few small issues and hasnt flown since...dont really know why.
On the other hand, this is intedid to be fully 3D capable, if I can ever talk him in to getting back on it, Im really anxiuos to continue building this beast.http://www.flyinggiants.com/forums/f...tra-260-a.html
