After two years of dead sticks with the Evolution 58 gx2 engine, I replaced it with the new DA60.
No more dead sticks! The AW 50cc Ultimate is a great plane, it survived a dead stick every weekend it was flown with the Evolution engine. It is two years old and looks brand new. I did purchase a new set of wheel pants. Here is a fly-by with the DA60.

I sold mine last summer. Not because I didn't like it.
I loved it, and regret selling it everyday i go out flying. It was such a nice flying plane.

But, Thats the agreement with my wife. I am not to become a collector
If I want to buy or try somethng else.....one of the current ones has to go

This one was my 4th Ultimate, and largest. There is another Ultimate for me on the Horizon.

Only bigger next time

Did I say that I love Ultimates

I had a wing failure on my AW 50cc Ultimate flying IMAC stuff at about 30 flights. I notes the little strip of covering that covers the butt joint on top wing would be wrinkled after a flying session. I could iron it back down ok but wrinkles would be back after flying session. Was inverted after negative push, left upper and lower departed. Destroyed the aircraft
