As soon as I get to feeling better I will get some pics up. I guess I will go with the Hacker A30-16M but which ESC do I need to get with it.

Wow... Get better and take care of yourself!

US kits are also made in china ? If you buy one in europe you get funniest chineese ARF you have ever seen
Recomended servos didn't fit, funniest part was installing elevator servo, and lots of other problems . . .
But didn't take any assembly or kit pictures. And replaced tail wheel with one left from chineese plane after taking this vid.

Landing gear shoes were destroyed in couple of landings on asfalt, edge of the cannopy started cracking . . .

Elevator halves unglued, glued them.
Several weeks later:
Elevator broke and halves broke in result, barely could land it, because one of the halfs was struck in 45 degrees up.

Still, theese models fly good, and looks good.

extra - some pics of Extreme Flight 58" extra 300 and high tech packaging materials.
Extra's fuselage cracked during blender (no pics here).

Torqmeister:
Do you have to add weight to the nose to get the plane balanced?

No. My 3S 2200 mah battery sticks about 1/3 of its length into the bulkhead at leading edge of the wing. Does that make sense?

Thanks for the reply. I have a Torque 2818/900(very much same weight as the Hacker A30-16m). I probably try it on this plane. How much power do you have with your setup? I know a bigger motor with 4 cells is recommended for this plane.

You can fly that motor on 4s as well...
use a 45A ESC and 4s and it will be fun!

Default Extreme Flight 47" Yak 54

Missed the Light pole
Missed the building
Missed the two big Labs
Missed the owners of the Labs
Flew a little to long, forgot to flip the timer switch. LBC was the reason!

I was flying around doing low KE's and inverted. Getting ready to bring her IN, I started to climb out to about 20 feet up and 80 feet away.

The point in the picture is about 40 feet away from where I wanted to land it!
I got it hung up and there is no damage to the plane!
THank you plane gods.

Well it's supposed to be lightweight and strong, but several blenders, snap rolls and walls and . . .
Barely could land it.

Hey, I have beet mine to death and they still go on to fly . Instead of putting the camera to use in a negative way turn it on and see if you can get some positives out of it . Mine only dies when the firewall is tired then its time to refresh a new fuse with exactly the same hardware that came with the plane.

Just sharing my experience. I agree that theese are good flyers, much better rc models than most of unnamed chineese, but worst quality kits I ever had. Ok some other people, whom I know, didn't have any issues with quality, broken parts, broken and reglued parts (I do not believie post office guys did that), unuseable defected screws, terrible glue spots on balsa, no glue where it is supposed to be, deformed Extra 58" elevator, and finaly unglued elevator halves in 10 flights (GFK and wood were not properly glued), some 15-20 flights later broken YAK elevator frontal part ? Nice !
When you get such a quality twice (EF yak 47,5 & Extra 58) you do not feel motivated and positive .
Ok one guy here in Latvia had awful quality Extra 58" and he purchased same model few month later, and that time there was no any quality issues, but I had 2 "fantastic" quality kits, so no EF fanaticism from me, SORRY !
Some others are ready to withtstand anything from EF marked items, but I am not one of them, there is so many alternatives, and that is positive for sure .

P.S.
And is that fine that some other well known to me person's 1200 eur 110" Extreme Flight YAK 54 wingtube is not fiting, yak has parts shortage (missing pushrod, some other small parts) and such quality parts ?
And this ARF was purchased month ago.
