I am proud to let you know, that there is a new professionell company at the worldwide F3A market:
the Starcraft (Japan) - Delro (Germany) F3A Cooperation! 3 years ago, as I had broken with Oxai, I had to answer by myself the question, what to fly in future? Sure, that my new models shouldnīt have a worser look / finish like Oxai-models, but I have had my own ideas of inside technology and quality and want to have my personal colorsheme. I want to have the ultimate F3A-model. And this was difficult admitly; I didn`t find a lot at the world market. There was only one way for me: one of these famous original japanese builted dream models. We know since several decades, that the japanese guys know, how to built a perfect F3A model in quality, technology and full painted dream finish. But it is for foreign customers nearly impossible, to get one of these, because the most of these builders donīt sell outside Japan. Not that I have too much money, but F3A is my sport and happiness; I fly more then 400 flights in one year and I want to have 400 flights each year the pure fun, the total perfection with the knowledge of the very best material and no compromises! The most of other models are much more expensive, if you see the cost of one flight you do with them. And if you have a perfect F3A model, you donīt need really another models to fly perfectly. I was very proud, that the Starcraft Ltd./Japan give me the possibility to buy a modified, special version of here F3A model "Addiction". Please have a look at the RCU-thread: http://www.rcuniverse.com/forum/m_5840027/anchors_5840027/mpage_1/key_Addiction/anchor/tm.htm#5840027. In the last two season, I have flown this model with great success and not only I think, itīs one of the best F3A pattern planes worldwide today. Any of these kits and ready to fly models are sold over the world and all customers are satisfied. The technology of my two Addiction is complete wood. No question, I think still today, that this traditional japanese wood-technology is up to date and the very best for YS-powered F3A models. But you donīt need really this technology for electrified F3A- models. Because the motor have no vibrations, it donīt requires this lot of work ( and expensive cost) A think, a (really optimized) balsa sandwich fuselage is hard to beat over all as best technology for electrified F3A-models. ( from strongness, weight, look and cost) But the japanese guys donīt really know, how to built perfect glas sandwich fuselages. And it was hard enough, to persuade them to built an optimized electrified F3A-model with two part wing etc. etc.; the most of them fly very successful YS-powered models with one part wing.... ( but the future will show it...) At the other side, in Germany there is a producer of really good glas -sandwich fuselages and Imac-sized aerobatic aircrafts; the famous Delro company. Wellknown in US also from Bernd Beschorners Raven at TOC, Tuscon etc. And the owner of Delro, Detlef Rottmann, aerobatic insider by himself, want to start a production of F3A models after any years again, because... his son Jan is one of the most talented pilots in Germany and he need a good F3A-model, because pattern is the only way to get a really champion. Detlef was very interested in my "Addiction" and to make the story short: In future, the slightly modified and optimized ( at my experience of the last two seasons) original Starcraft "Addiction EP" will produce by Delro with the mix of the best technologies for electrified pattern models worldwide (glas balsa sandwich fuselages, complete balsa sheeted foam wings, original japanese full painted) as: - kit - prepared model - simple painted fuselage and original " Oracover" sheeted wings/ tail - lavish original full painted in Japan in your own wanted design (!!) The same is for the Delro pattern modell "E-Motion". The Starcraft company (http://www.starcraft.co.jp/index.html) will sell the Addiction EP and E-Motion at Japan/Asia as exclusive distributor and Delro (http://www.delro.de/) at the rest of the world. ( F3A-inquiries to email: DelroAddiction@aol.com) The new cooperation offers the best of two F3A worlds: - Japanese F3A knowhow at construction and painting - Delro production knowhow - outstanding service, deliverytime and consultation - selected accessories for pattern models. The production is running; I could have a look at the first fuselages and other parts; the quality is outstanding (!!). I am at my object; I may collaborate on creating my favorite F3A model in flight performance, technology, look, finish and disposal/deliverytime. Iīm sure, this cooperation will be a great success. More infos if wanted. Bruno Schiffler |

Bruno,
dont forget to say that Henning Wessels (son of Peter Wessels) is going to fly the Addiction the next season and Jan Rotmann is flying the fish (öhm... emotion) ....as you all see, there is a lot of know-how behind the two planes to make them to the best available pattern planes out on the market. by the way, Delro has produced special electric F3A Props, with this props the fast flying style is no problem and the plane even goes at storm like on a rail. @bruno: maybe you can upload some pics and give more infos about Amps etc... regards, Chris http://www.acromasters.com http://www.3daerobatic.com |

I have been on Delros web site, but it is all in German. I really like the looks of the E-motion. What would the prices be for a ARF, ARC, basic kit etc. |

The Delro-US market web page is now up. The regular and introductory pricing is posted there. The page is temporarily being hosted on the electric-f3a web site server and will be moved at some point but this gets things up and running for now for the US customers and will answer many of your questions.
