Here is some of what I have gotten done, been really slammed with work and no slow down in sight.
The new bulkhead is in place with the new gear mounted, the real B-36 has doors onto of the fuse for the forward gun location, just behind the canopy, this is where I will access my air system and RX power.

The first photos are of my neighbors picture, it was hand drawn by unknown B-36 mechanic. His dad was friends with the guy while in the AF.

Thanks, DAG

Just the left outboard wing, then from there the building of the re-designed flaps, then I think it is all down hill from there (I hope).

Thanks, DAG

You know what is good/bad? It is the fact as I build this I see what does and does not work, what I have learned about building strong and light has actually helped save weight again. The new bulkhead weighs 8.5 ounces, the old bulkhead once cut out and removed weighed 11 ounces, so the modification saved weight on moving my nose gear.

I hope to have this week the right outboard wing bottom sheeted and glassed, I also want to get the RX's systems started to be mounted as well as the air systems for the 3 gear system. If I get that done I can start on the fuse sheeting.

Another thing that I calculated but don't want to get to excited about yet, I weighted all hardware, motors, RX's, batteries, landing gear, props and stuff, it came to 41.5 pounds, then I weighed all airframe components 42.5 pounds, that is a total of 84 pounds, I know my covering and finish will not weigh 16 pounds, so I think I will be about 5 pounds under my target max of 100 pounds.

Thanks, DAG

So very cool.
