Right wing is jigged, and I test fit my stringers and spars. The pic with the coke can is for scale.

Dag, not a criticism but I am curious as to why you put the wing sheeting grain going from leading to trailing edge. I know you glassed it but wouldn't you give up a fair amount of sheeting strength by doing it that way?

No criticism taken,
On a project of this scale were I am using stringer for my skin strength I have to run the grain from fornt to back as not to show thru where every stringer is. Also running the grain this way makes the wing about 300% stronger in the axis that creates wing warping or flutter. I have done this with great success with wings this size when using stringers.

Thanks, DAG

Well here is some crazy cool data. As some of you know I had a debacle when ordering my props. Origanlly a Xoar dealer completely screwed me, they told me that they could not get me props, and actually gave me another person to contact that might be able to get me my props, then the Xoar dealer billed my CC, I asked what was going on, they stated that they found out they could get them for me, then I get them and they were chipped and drilled wrong. Now here is the big question, I just got my JC super props (actually my wife did, I was in Las vegas yesterday and Minneapolis today). I had me wife take a few pictures, but what surpised me was that the Xoars weigh 6.8 ounces, and the JC super props weigh 5.3 ounces. Xoar says they have the lightest e-props out there. I am now wondering if this dealer completely screwed me by actually sending me Xoar gas props, and that is the reason they were drill wrong. As soon as I get home I will test them and see what my results are, but be very careful of who you buy your Xoars from. I can't believe this dealer may have actually sent me gas props just to sell me something. But to be fair, I did say I would look at the gas pusher props 3 blades if I had no other choice. But for the guy on the phone to tell me that he did get me e-pushers makes him a liar if in fact these are gas props.
Attached a few pics.
Thanks, DAG

I'm no Xoar expert, but that does look like more of a gasser profile to me...

This is what their 3-blade E-props are supposed to look like:

Got a little done this weekend, been completely swamped with work.

One really cool thing. I test fit my outer wing to my center section, fit 110.5% PERFECT!

Will be doing some prop testing tomorrow night!

Cheers, DAG
