bummer , oh well... at least I can eat next month now.
SleepyC,

I ordered on the 19th at 11:13am EST one of the M12's and a tailwind trainer like 66stang (for a club replacement - 34.99 plus 7.99 shipping!) and got a tracking number for the trainer only!

Looks like all those guys who were buying 2 and 3 sucked 'em all up before we got there!

I emailed the sales gal (christine) that I had contacted about the shipping address to see if they were still going to ship the M12 but she has gone dark on me, so I'm assuming we aren't going to see them.

Oh well, I really didn't need it either, just too good a deal to pass up.

The Aeroworks 35cc Extra 300 is still $100 off, and that's what I'd decided on as my first "Big to Me Plane" for next season.

I'm going to order the airframe while they're still on sale, and look for a clean used ZDZ40 and servos over the cold months.

Pitts would have been nice, but ultimately it was the price, not the plane that sucked me in.
Motormoron Check these out I have been using them in a Golberg new 60.5" Ultimate bipe at 12LBS with a 3w-28 Competition series with great results in fact I just bid on 7 more at $15.95 each! He Emailed me yesterday and said he has 300 in stock!

To get over the pain of missing out on the Cox Pitts, I did my Xmas shopping for me yesterday afternoon. The company cashed out all my vested stock a week ago, so why not go crazy while the economy tanks...

I got a clean used ZDZ40 w/ a prop and 2 mufflers from the FG classifieds for $350 shipped. Then, from Chief online I got the Aeroworks 35cc Extra 300, 5 JR 8411s, a Spektrum 9100/regulator/LiIon battery, servo arms, and the small bits.

Boom. Just like that.

I'll exit the Pitts thread and wander over to the AW 35cc Extra thread about now...
