Its the largest model airplane in the world. It is the B29 Dina Might, scale 1/5 and with its four engines of 160cc each it lifts 210 kg in the air.

Wasn't the b29 from Byron Models bigger than that? It flew in the late 80's at the airshows there.

I couldn't see much in the way of wing flex at all, that wing stays pretty solid during the entire flight. There's some bouncing around on the ground due to the rough surface, at first glance looks like wing flex but it's exaggerated.

also with some amount of flex inthe material, but i would still be conservative flying something that heavy build with model plane supplies..

Chuck,
If I remember right, the Byron B29 engines were started by remote control and actually puffed out smoke, just like the real engines, when they where started. Very cool. It was very impressive, and all the more so, when you consider how long ago it was when they flew it. Without the aid of computer radios, and any of today's technology, it was way ahead of its time.
