I have a few Moki's both 1.80 and 2.10 laying around I'd like to stick in a plane. Not a bid 3-D person just scale aerobatic type mostly. Must be at least semi scale (prefer no edges/ultimates) other than that pretty open. I looked into some of the GP series of 1.60 size planes and it's hard to get reliable info and most of the builds seem to be either gas or undersize glow.....
Can even be a kit (actually would prefer) but I think they have gone the way of the dodo bird in this size. I fly at the house alone and don't get out and see what the planes for sale nowdays really do on big glow engines. I normally fly gas but would like a plane I could stick in the truck now that we have a field semi nearby without taking the trailer. Thanks. |

The Midwest extra 300 and cap232 were very good flyers and nice kits. Not sure if they're still selling them or not. Maybe try ebay or rcu?

Yeah the Midwest Extra would be right up my alley but they are getting really hard to find. I normally search thru RCU and Ebay for different kits on a regular basis and haven't seen any. Also looking for a GP 33% Extra kit...saw one on RCU and asked about it. Guy sold it to someone who had it listed on Ebay before he even took delivery of it....

Aero Works 1.20 Yak-54! You will love it with the 1.80. I have mine with a Saito 1.80 and it is a great combo! Great quality plane and it still looks new after a year and half of flying it. I'm sure your Moki will give you the same great power as my Saito. You can't go wrong with an AW plane. It is also a quick build so if you have everything ready to go you can't have it ready in a weekend. If you click my sn on the left, I have a picture of mine when I first finished it.
AW has a Christmas sale so now would be the time to get it.

Sig SU-31 or World Models Extra 300S, both are great with Moki.

GP Yak with a Moki 1.80. BCM Pitts... This is the perfect match. I've been flying it for over a year now... If you have any specific questions shot me a PM.
![]() Also other planes that I have Moki's in that perform perfectly Moki 2.10 - RC GUYS Super Decathlon ARF Moki 2.10 - Top Flight Giant Scale P-51 ARF Moki 1.80 - CMP Giles 202 ARF Here are the only pics I have here at work. I will post more of the others if you like ![]() Here is one for size comparison. ![]() P-51 with Moki 2.10 w/ Pitts wrap around

I found that building a kit takes about as long as a scratch built project.
This one is scratch built. It uses one size wing rib repeated a bunch of times. |

Surely a Giles 202 Ultralight from Pasontech
A little laboured to build and need some stronger hardware but a perfect frame for a Moki 1.80/2.10 gas engine if you are looking for an extreme acrobatic plane. |
