Default Yak 55M Krill -Another build thread

Hi guys
After having the chance to fly Ivo's Yak 55 at the German Acromasters last September I was definitely into having this airplane(+crashing my 39% Katana while practicing to the same competition),it was the most dominant airplane on this event ,I attached few pictures from there.

Few days ago a big box with my Krill made Yak 55M,I thought shering you guys with the quick build I intend to do on this plane, hope you like it.
some pictuers first, the colors are the same as my last katana (razor edge red) but with a new pattern on the airplane, got some help in choosing and making it from Ivo Krill,I really like the red and white colors since I live practice in the south of Israel where it looks like a desert and the red color really stands out.

Hey my dear friend across the pond, I will be watching the build closely! It is sad that you lost the Katana, I enjoyed flying it SO much, but I am glad that you will now have an even better plane! Have fun with the build! Can't wait to see more pics. Ido, did you get the paint scheme that I e-mailed you? Let me know. Thanks buddy, Daniel

PS: For everyone who read Ido's first post, the crash of his Katana wasn't his fault. He had a deadstick on a low verticle upline.

Thanks guys
well...starting with the wing an stabs, this airplane builds up fast!!!
used regular 5 minute epoxy to glue the horns in and a second small amount of apoxy mixed with colors to match the surfece of the airplane.

I see that they have done more work on the plane than before...slots for the control horns pre-cut, blind nuts installed for the cowl (cowl mounted?)

Also - are the Yaks over there coming out tail heavy, as they reported to over here in the states - and if so, how much weight is being added to the nose to bring the CG into position for IMAC (pattern) work?

Plane looks great!!!! I am waiting for the Su-29 to be completed!

Hey Joe
how are you sir?

yes,you right - most of the hard work is already done for you - making the building much more fun

the yak is indeed coming Tail heavy, the yak have extremely long tail.
its preatty easy to fix - just bulid the all airplane with thought to put the equipment as far to the nose as you can.

Ido
