well for chritmas i opened a magic hand yak 54 it is a really nice plane and was a complete suprise.
so i am going to start a build thread if you have any suggestions please post |

I did a MH103" Yak with a DL-100, no surprises but make sure you plan everything forward of the wing tube, the MH tends to be tail heavy. I love the way the fat wing does slow flight. What engine are you putting up front?

thanks every one i am going to do some more building after the new years going on vaction soon. and have a compy i am working on just got the servos for it and then that one is done

so far this plane looks great one thing bad about the wing tube is HEAVY and am probably oing to order the carbon fiber tube from TBM

The 3W-100 will drag it around just fine, just keep everything up front so you do not have to add weight to the nose. It will be interesting to see how the 3W-100 compares to the Dl-100, my MH 103 Yak is stock.

well my power was out for a few days cam back ona couple of minutes ago and i got the engine mounted bu come to find out the cowl was too long

Just received mine today.
This is my first big boy so I'm glad your doing this thread. I'm going to mount a 3W-106. I talked to the guys at TBM and said that it should be a perfect match fo the airframe. I have a DA-85 sitting around, do you guys thinkk the DA would be a better fit. I don't want to add nose weight. |
