This would make total sense (which explains why I wasn't able to connect the dots myself.) Thanks.

I already pulled the trigger on the A60-18L. Unfortunately, there has been a one month delay with Pilot RC being able to build my plane with my custom color scheme. It seems they didn't have enough black ultracote to do my design and the German company they get it from is closed for the holidays until Jan 8th. Then Pilot RC is closed from Jan 22-Feb 2 for the Chinese New Year. It was either change the color of my design or wait. I chose to wait.

Anyway, so I guess it will be a while until I can see what size prop it can accomidate. Or I could get both!

servo's I would go with the JR 8711 you will be able to use them in your next plane when you move up in size.
the main thing is that you don't want to loose a plane because of servo failure what you saved in servos may cost you a plane.

I use 1-AR7000 RX with 2- 2's 2300mAH A123 (1 in the Batt channel and 1 in a open channel) use HD switchs for each battery. the setup works great and it is light I use about 600mAH per battery for 6 flights and you can charge them fast.
here are some links that have pictures of my setup
I hope It helps

Interesting. I didn't know you could plug an extra battery into any other channel than the battery channel on the AR7000. I thought that was the whole reason for them coming out with the AR9100. Do you need to use any kind of voltage regulator?

You don't need a Voltage regulator when you use a 2s 6.6v A123 battery. check this out in the H9 Suhkoi Manual. dont use the" Y " to share a channel use a open channel

I can't get these guys on the phone or to respond to an email to save my life. Seems like there isn't one of these props in stock anywhere in the WORLD!

Who makes a 25x12.5?

Awesome. Thanks for the info. I will try them again next week then.

I really dig their planes. I have been debating gutting my H-9 Sundowner 50 and put the parts in a 3DHS 55inch Extra 300. That plane looks sweet and the reviews have been great!

There was a snag in getting my plane: Pilot RC didn't have enough black Ultracote to do my custom design. They get it from a German company which was on holiday until Jan. 8th. Now the Pilot guys are on vacation for Chinese New Year until Feb. 2nd. They gave me the choice of changing it to a different color or waiting. I chose to wait and so he is going to throw in some aluminum hub wheels for the trouble. He sent me some pictures about a week ago of the progress they are making. It looks like they are just waiting on the painted parts (cowl and wheel pants). I would guess I'll get it around the middle of Feb. It has given me time to gather the parts so I can hit the ground running when it comes. I have almost everything here now but I still need to make a decision on the batteries (see comment #9) and a dang prop!

I exchanged email with 3DHS and they have no 25x12.5 or 24x12 props in stock. I don't get it. I cannot find one ANYWHERE!

Thanks. I found an APC 24x12E but I really would prefer a Wood prop.
