Okay, here is the short video of the second test flight of this engine. We were flying between rain showers so there's not much to watch but notice the take-off. Dry weight on the plane is 17 pounds and it's spinning a Vess 22A for break in. Figure in 24 ounces of gas for AUW. Less then ½ gallon of fuel through the engine. It definitely has extreme possibilities. Ceiling in this video is at 400'. Uploading the video of the maiden flight, weekend before, as I type. It's a lot more interesting. The XYZ 50HP.

Okay, here's the maiden flight. Engine has a rear induction rotary valve. I believe in testing them right so we really hammered this one on the maiden. Just finished up the beta testing and it hit the market this morning.

I've got the old 50 in a seagull superstar, it has been awesome but this new one looks like a cross between a JC aera 51 (jcengine.com) and a dl50.

Sure! Sorry about the quality of the photo. It's a ground and lapped steel plate running on a bearing and driven by the crank. Positive fuel entry. No chance of the reeds floating or breaking.

LOL Yeah, I knew that would come up. Don't think they invented the rotary valve though! LOL Let's just say it's a compilation of the good features in 2 stroke engines.
![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() I'll be happy to field any questions.
