Flying in powder snow is a lot of fun. Just be careful since the visibility is not good. I crashed a good Yak doing this. I may try it again one day (my skis are pretty bent up).

There was an article on modelairplanenews.com on building skis. I put a set together in an afternoon and had a blast the next day and again a few days later. Mine are on a 1/3 super cub.
