Here are some more pictures. John making a splash and the fog rolling back in later in the day. Great flying John and Ryan.

Just another day at the field. It was nice to meet you Ryan and fun to watch you and John ring the s%&% out of those Suk's. Here's a couple more shots with some people so the size of this beauty is more seeable. You'll notice that we keep most of the gassers at the far end of the field, kind of away from us glow fliers. They sorta smell funny, like I don't know, weed-eaters or something.

lol, I even had my little Pau hydro out there on the water, Ken has pics of that, it was fun! If I had a plane on floats it would have been there.

I also felt the CG was a touch too forward on Ryan's. It was a safe spot but would have been better on the front of the wingtube for IMAC and a touch further back for 3D. I think his pilot figure will settle it out though. The MTW57 (if I got that right) got better as the flights went on, but it did shake quite a bit at idle. I also felt on the can it was as loud as the DA50 on mufflers for what its worth to those out there. But both engines had more than enough power to fly this plane in any style you could want! All these great shots of the plane flying low..........anyone snap some pics of me flying super airline traffic high? I really liked the way the plane flew and asked Ken to hold one back for me! Anyone got a 50cc they'd sell or giveaway?

John's plane with a DA-50, muffler, and lightweight battery was 17 pounds. My plane with the MT-57, cannister, and redundant battery setup was just over 18. Both planes flew great, and I was happy to see that John's plane had absolutely no problem with his 22" prop.
