Those are good weights, especially John's. I like the pic's of them parked next to each other. Very cool looking plane indeed. I really like the look without the spinner.

John and I need to do a vertical drag race some time.
I like John's setup as well, though personally I'd use more than a single 2400 Li-Ion for the receiver. My Iron Corps 2400 packs are a little heavy, and some more testing might show them to be completely overkill - I recharged my packs after two full flights of IMAC and 3D mixed flying, and only put in 200mah in each pack. That's only 100mah per pack per flight! I wasn't going easy on the controls either. Personally I think once my MT engine breaks in, it's going to be a real powerhouse.

Man... those planes look great! Really nice pics... with the scenery wow. Nice flying Ryan, John! I used to get a kick out of watching Ryan fly his Fun 50... I've never seen someone fly an aiplane liked they hated it so much!

It flew very well, the scale varied from 17.1 to 17.2 lbs with 1/4 - 1/3 of a tank of fuel in it, so whatever that fuel weighed.. The DA has plenty of power to get out of a hover with a 22" PAU prop

I hope I get as many years out of the Sukhoi as I have with the Fun 50.

I still have the Fun 50 video on YouTube.
![]() Okay, calculating wing loading on our planes. Mine at 18 pounds dry comes out to 27.8 oz/ft^2, while John's at 17 pounds dry is 26.2 oz/ft^2. Add an ounce or two for a full fuel tank. These planes feel very light in the air. |

A little bad news about the video, guys. I have about 40 minutes worth of flight footage (both my plane and John's), but when I got home last night I couldn't get the video to capture on my laptop. I tried several things to get it to work, including reinstalling Movie Maker, but my computer simply wouldn't recognize the video camera. So unfortunately I'm on a trip now with no footage to work on and post. The good news is I went out tonight and bought a new computer so I promise to get the video going as soon as I get home. If I happen to drop by Seattle during my trip, I'll try to bribe my buddy to bring the camera out so I can capture the video. We'll see, otherwise I'll have the video footage out early next week.

I hear 3 inch spacers are needed for the DA-50 then what length spacers for the DL-50?
