Pat Hartness (the gracious host and owner of Triple Tree) has an awesome bathroom and shower facility! This in my 14th year at the NALL, and used to go to the hotels. You really miss out on the real experience and after hours antics if you don't camp! Come on down and brace yourself for a big time!

Nall? Joe Nall? Triple Tree Airdrome? Whisky? Coke? Vodka? Red Bull? Little bells are ringing in my ears, but that's all. Hot sticky sun? Humidity? Circle flyers? Planes in trees? Big bipes doing acrobatics, as in tumbling on the runway he he? Ahh, something is coming back, isn't it THE EVENT OF THE YEAR one has to attend if only traveling for once per year? Yep, I hear Cock Diezel plans to drive across the country with a trailer full of planes and camp out at the grounds, or just huck a tire, who knows.

Ahh yes..I recall seeing you hugging the tire of a truck as Biff and I were speeding along in a golf cart with no lights and marginal brakes at about 1:00 in the blessed a.m.! On our first pass you were just slumped over the truck...when we came past a little later, you were down! What a crazy night that was! No more Red Bull and Kettle One for me this year!....Yeah right!

CRAP CRAP CRAP, I just aired the thought of two weeks off to my boss and apparently we have a stupid worldwide leadership meeting starting the week of May 15, and it's obviously the weeks leading up to this that entails all the work. Shoot man, this couldn't get any worse for me. Trying to talk the head of my department into giving me the first two weeks of May off is about as futile as talking the oil companies into supporting the development of alternative power sources. I'm fricking really bumbed, the ONE BIG event per year, I last year learned to look forward to.

I'm really hoping to make the long 23hour drive down, right now all that is holding be back is the lack of knowing where I will be working for the summer. If only I didn't have to pay for school, then I would be all set!!! LOL. Hopefully I'll figure something out.

From what I've read and the pictures i've seen its not an event to miss.

Couple questions, can anyone fly? and does anyone by chance know if MAAC is sufficient to fly or do you HAVE to belong to the AMA?

Thanks Alot.

Well Mr. Tank, shoot me down and cook me up. I was looking at last years dates, and you're right, you drunken sailor haaaaaaa haaaaaaaaaaa.
I will go back and see if I can negotiate some time off, so I can still drive there and spend a week perfecting being an alcoholic.
You da man Banks.

If you get there Thursday morning, you'll have missed Wednesday evening he he. Hey, that might be a good thing. Thursday and Friday seem to be the bussiest days. I'd like to be there the weekend before, but that's because I want to set up and fly and become comfortable with the place (trees and such he he)

DAYUM!
Those dates coincide with the official BILLY HELL RC beer week.
This is an annual tradition of walking around a huge piece of land, wearing a cowboy hat and partying like a Pro Bro.
