OMG they were great!!!!!!....
Shame there was alot of negativity from the Nth Island (how about SUPPORTING and PROMOTING your discipline in BOTH islands) Alot of alcomohol wis drunct. Thankyou to the 2 power fliers who attended from the Nth Island and a MASSIVE thankyou to the organisers who did an EXCELLENT JOB with the minor problems. Was a great time by all. This was the first Nats I have been to and I hope the Nth Island nats are 1/2 as good. Terry P # 4712 |

I'm voting that the next nats be held in Invercargill, and the ones after that ... where is further south ... er yep, Bluff !
Cause we all had a bloody great xmas and new years up here in the North Island. The weather was pox the whole time. Bucketed it down on New Years. Rained nearly all day on the 2nd. Somewhere in the middle of it all I heard on the radio severe wind warning's posted for Masterton. It was ***** from one end of NZ to the other. Unless of course we do something drastic like moving the nats timing away from xmas and new years. Heaven forbid ! The weather might be nicer though. And I'd have to see Aunty Dawn on boxing day every year ! Whats even funnier .... the great unwashed are also thinking about moving their summer holidays too. Yep, heard on the radio, they did a poll, and 51% of kiwi's asked would rather have their summer holiday in February, cause they're sick of getting wet while tenting it over xmas /new years. Hi Guys
The nats were fanastic. I had a great time. Bugger that i missed the aggy comp but there is always next year. Model flew away prior to comp starting!!! Good to meet some of the South Island members. Driving was the killer but got there in the end!!! Would do it all again but Clareville up for the hosting again later this year / early next year. Kerry N |
