For those of you who are interested in IMAC, Time Attaway our District VP, will be giving two presentations at this weekend"s AMA Show in Ontario. Tim has been a professional educator for over thirty years, so I'm sure the presentations will be very well done. There will be 5 prizes given away at each session. If you are interested in learning about IMAC, and how it is flown and judged, I encourage you to put this on your AMA Convention schedule. I believe you will end up getting certified as a level 1 judge as part of this. Don't be intimidated by the term Judging, sign up even if you are a newbie. You'll learn a great deal that will help you prepare to fly IMAC.
Below is more detailed information on the presentations: AMA CONVENTION / SHOW IS THE PERFECT TIME TO ATTEND THE JUDGING CERTIFICATION SEMINAR LEVEL 1 AND ALL YOU NEED TO DO IS TO SEND ME AN EMAIL TO RESERVE YOUR SEAT IN ROOM 100A FOR ONE OF TWO SEMINARS!!! trattaway@cox.net FRIDAY, JAN 9TH AT 4:15 UNTIL 6:00 PM SATURDAY, JAN 10TH FROM 10:15 UNTIL 11:45 TAKE IN THE SHOW, LEARN THE BASICS FOR JUDGING, GET CERTIFIED BY PASSING THE EXAM, LEARN ABOUT THE DEDUCTIONS FOR THE BASIC SEQUENCE. MANY OF YOU WILL BE FLYING AND THIS WILL HELP YOU IMPROVE YOUR SCORES FOR 2009 AND GET YOU ON THE ROAD TO BECOMING AN IMPORTANT PART OF IMAC....A QUALIFIED, COMPETENT, CERTIFIED JUDGE. I HAVE TWENTY PEOPLE SIGNED UP AT THIS TIME AND LOOKING FOR 30-40 FOR EACH SESSION. THERE WILL BE A BONUS DRAWING FOR THOSE THAT ARE PREREGISTERED. TIM ATTAWAY, REGIONAL DIRECTOR |

who's in?
I'm signed up for Friday, but if I can get the OK from the wife I'll be there Saturday too. I know a lot of flyers in the SW were asking for something like this to come along. Glad to see it happen. Pedro. |

I agree
I wish that our judging school was more like this over in NC region. It's important that everyone starts with the right information and retains it, otherwise it's just a dog and pony show!!!! What I really was trying to say is that everyone ( at a contest ) needs the right info and retains it. I didn't mean the NC judging school had wrong information or that it was a dog and pony show. Sorry for the confusion. My humble apoligies to NC judging school personel.
