Default seagull Edge 540 46 size

Hi Guys I am just about to test fly my edge 540 and am tring to decipher the C of G in the manual it says to balance the plane 9.5cm back from the leading edge measured at the wing tips. Do I lift the plane at the wing tips c of g point the right way up as the wing is in the center of the plane on the 540, any other way of doing this as the manual is very vague thanks voitty
