There is dihedral on the 120" Yak?

The Jtec 3.2 is the perfect fit. I have 3 and I torture them. 3D, IMAC whatever you want to do, this bird flys very light and does it all. It's also very strong and can take a great deal of punishment. You should add it to your poll.

I must have never noticed it. Hows about the other Yaks from other companies? Is it standard to have dihedral in them as well? Any aileron differential mixed in?

Not sure about other Yaks. I do know that the ZN Line Extra does have quite a bit of dihedral though too. Nope, I have no differential in any of my planes from QQ (120", 102", Python).

if the designers are doing their homework, there is just enuff dihedral to null any rolling tendency with rudder....

OK, I am down to a short list. Somewhat moddified now. I was dissapointed that PAU, QQ, Comp-ARF and others where not at the AMA Expo. I almost bought a TT TOC Yak that was on display. I paid for it, stayed another night, waited till 4pm Sun afternoon to find out it was a 100cc plane and not the 150cc i need. I am very dissapointed in Jeff Fassbinder(Ace Team Manager) that was running the booth. You think he would know his own planes?? I could not really tell cause it was 12ft up in the air and it is hard to size things up at a convention center.
So now: AW Ultimate(wasn't at the AW booth) AW 260 PAU Edge(haven't seen one) Last edited by Sevans16; 01-16-2009 at 04:47 PM. |

WOW...Interesting
Of those 3.....IMHO, I would wait for the AW Ulti just cause it's slightly different. And it supposedly flies very good, better than older versions. 260's are everywhere although probably THE best flying model out. |

I've never seen a Jtec around here. I am not sure I like the scheme. I need tried and true. I have had several problems with radios and planes the last few months!!

Not so much dissing them. Just looking for a plane I can see in person. I've never been to the AMA Expo and did not know what to expect. I get tired of reading threads and making keyboard decisions. I like to meet people and planes in person.
