Well, AW is a little heavy, less wing area, but does fly very well at 25lbs, it would require striping to get this done. Weve done it.
C/Arf....too expensive. I had alot of probs with QQ 102" also, BUT awesome CS, and Damn it flew good. SD doesnt exist anymore, it TT/TOC, and good luck getting parts if needed. IMO, its a coin flip between Pilot and Extreme, bothe are incredible planes, built well, extreme is slightly less wing area and a lil'bit heavier advertised. Of course you know it all depends on equipment selection. And they are the same price, although with Pilot, you can get your own scheme at a small extra cost. I would have difficulty choosing between the two. JMO |

I fly the AW 100cc Yak with the new DA100, straight rec. no power supply all Hites 5955 and A123's from Radical RC. AUW with smoke system is 29 lbs. But I love it and anyone who has flown it does. Even with the weight it still flies like a foamy. I love it and will fly it until, and will probably buy another if anything happens to it. Go for the new AW Yak.

I agree, it does fly good, I never said it didnt, but lose 4-5lbs and tell me how it flies. This goes for any plane, dont think it matters....just try it.

I'm picking up an EF 110" on Saturday.....I'm really excited about getting one. I have a DA100 that I could use but I'm going to put a DA85+RE3 on it for my first piped plane.

Cracky,
That's awesome! Hey, let me have the sticks on the Yak and I'll let you take up the Dietrich Slick. Where do you fly at the most in STL? I plan on coming up more this summer to fly with you guys. Chris |

We just received a container on New Year's eve and have all 3 color schemes of the Yak in stock. We also have a large inventory of replacement parts including cowls, canopies, landing gear, spats, fairings and we replenish this stock with each container we receive.

Awesome, good to know you are keeping on top of things. I havent got to fly a 110" yet, but I hear great things about it from guys I know that have. keep it up, Im trying to talk a buddy into one, he just lost his AW we lightened. He loved it so much, he says hes getting another, he's not easily persuaded. Whats the 3rd scheme by the way?
