One more Vote for the Extreme Flight 110".

In the group of guys I fly with we have had every one listed except the Pilot and Aeroworks. I hear a lot of people talking about weight but I have yet to anyone that has flown a 110" say it feels heavy. Just for comparison here is my 110" sitting nose to nose with a 37.5% SD.

Agreed....but how can it not fly light at 110"ws for a 100cc plane...very low wing load, gotta be nice..I want one. Good job Chris

Well I would say Quique's 102" Yak, but since you don't want that for some reason, I would have to go with the EF.

Yep!! I've known that plane since the day it was new and I used to have a 35% SD. It's got a modified 3W 150 in it.

I had the AW quick build Yak. It did come in at 28lbs with a BME 110 up front. It was the best flying 100cc plane I ever flew. Flew like it was on rails . I lost it due to a radio malfuction. Only issue I had was the landing gear mounting was prone to breakage. The quality of the kit was A+.
I have not flow the others but would like to here from someone who has flow the Comp-arf 100cc YAK MikeC3D you seem to have flow everything any input on the comp-arf.

My Dad has the QQ 102" Yak and it is a nice flyer, straight and true. He hasn't experienced any of the problems others have.

I have flown the SD/TT/TOC 33% and like it quite a bit. I have a local dealer but I don't know about parts availability. The AW flies very well also, very true and maneuverable. I have not flown the EF 110" Yak but I expect it is very good.

However my favorite out of the planes I have flown has the be the Comp ARF Yak SP-55. It was just awesome in all categories. It feels heavy to pick it up but flies extremely light and precise. I think it has to do with the torsional rigidity of the complete airframe, fuse, wings, tail, etc. Nothing twists under aero loads. It was my favorite plane in this size range, hands down. It made flying VERY easy, no bad habits at all.

That being said, I would probably buy the EF Yak over the Comp-ARF if I was in the market. I probably won't break a plane in the air but I don't have a trailer (don't plan to get one either) so my planes must be able to withstand a few bumps and bruises moving things from the garage to the flying field. I am a lazy builder (too busy with kids to have much time to dedicate for building actually) and the EF planes just fall together. For that matter the AW planes are dead simple to build. The Comp-ARF planes are misnamed. They are NOT ARF, they are only pre-painted!

Hope that helps.

Was there anything wrong with it? Not trying to persuade you to get another, just asking so I can relay the message to QQ if there was problems with it....

Ive had other brand 35% yaks with better build quality and flight performance. I guess I was expecting something spectacular, I felt the build quality was below average and lots of coupling was not expected.

Wow, lots of coupling? Something was definitely wrong with yours. The ones I have flown were dead neutral. that is interesting.

I had the 85" QQ Yak and it was the best plane I had. No coupling what so ever. But the reason I went for the AW is I found a used one at a very cheap price. I think QQ would top the market if he would try the quick build arf, just my 2 cents.
