I'll never forget the time I opened up a new ARF and saw blood on the wood inside the fuse. Talk about blood sweat and tears.

This would be my first 50cc'r, so I would want to get it right first time. I don't want to end up with a pile of Junk.
I can get the EF Extra 300/EF Edge 540T/EF Yak 54 for £545, (I live in the UK).
I can get the Pilot RC Extra 300:
Standard (alloy) kit for £438/ if I waited till the show £400
Carbon Fibre kit for £567
For the Pilot RC stuff it's going to cost me £71 for a custom scheme, and I would have to draw up the scheme my self.
What should I do?????????????????????????????????

EF Edge 540T. You will love it. And that will get it done right the first time for sure.

Grab yourself a DLE-55.

It would cost any range from 1300-2000 or so depending on equipment used, canister exhaust, if you need a charger or anything.

Arent DLE 55's like £250. Sorry, I know I sound like a cheapskate but I'm still at secondry school. I have a CRRC gf26, and it is Ok, so would that do. Or does anyone know where to get DLE's cheap. Sorry guys trying hard to persuade dad to let me have a kit that expensive (£545 isn't cheap). So any justification, (ie a cheap engine is needed). Does anyone know what power servos are needed,( it recommends 6kg, I thought it would be more like 10kg)??????? Do you know if it will run off my DX7???????????????

Totally agree DLE-55. I have a DL-50 in an Extreme Flight Yak with stock exhaust. Awesome power. DLE-55 in an Extreme Flight Extra. Ballistic. Very reliable engines. I 3D the heck out of them and never ever had one quit.

But to show you I am not 100% biased towards EF (only 99% lol) it is not the cheapest plane out there. I believe it is the best flying plane out there though. Both of my setups cost me abuot $2k each in the US. With DA add another $300.

Hitec 7955 are my fav but they aren't cheap.
I don't have an Edge because I already have the Extra and Yak. Next one is 100cc for me.
