I have built a bunch of Carfs. When you build outside of what they give you, your going to have to get creative. I usually get the aluminum side service mounts from Secraft (it orientates the servo like it does in the wings) and make a plate to screw it to. On the last one, I screwed the mount to the firewall and used a short linkage. Bottom line, you stick it wherever it works. You can mount it to the inside of the fuse near the wingtube (or spar) and run a length of flexible nyrod. Then make a solid point where it goes through the firewall. Just search the composite arf build threads on the site and look for a setup your comfortable with. Also, download the different instructions for the diffetent planes to get ideas. Because they dont instal servo mounts from the factory, no two Carfs are ever built the same. Check out the CARF 2.6 Edge build thread. There's about six different ways to configure it. You'll love your plane.

I love it, but I just dont like the setup where the servo is mounted on the skin of the airplane, I noticed alot of flex on the outside of the skin when i was reving the engine full throttle!!! also Im thinking about switcing the engine to a da100!!
