The TMMs definatley look like a new design. There is not a lot (if any) 53cc engines.

No. TMM is the new name for 3mm or 3 Mountain Models. They have been producing the TOC-53 for 2 years, I sell them.

Just FYI one of the (former) employees at my builder made off with computer files holding the CAD plans of some of Wild Hare's planes. Now I know where they went.

Tom,
Before I saw your post I was saying to myself.....I think Tom should sue because they look exactly like WH designs.

Nitro Planes and CMP airplanes SUCK
Buyer Beware....they are pieces of crud and they exhibit unethical business practices.

Oh, OK, I misunderstood.

I have the new TMM-106 twin myself, definitely all new.

Read the whole forum. Quique gets involved. Kimball gets involved. Not pretty. Nitro planes should be banned. I will never buy from them and unfortunatly they have a advertisement header on this site. Grab some popcorn and a beer, then read the thread.

Why would anyone buy a plane from Nitro when you can buy a plane from WH? I've dealt with Tom and he is a pleasure to deal with, really cares about his planes and making sure the customer is happy. Nitro might have his design, but from everything I've heard their planes are poorly built and nothing but a hassle. I'll spend an extra 100 bucks or so for quality anytime!

No problem. I probably should have said it is an orginal design.

Also, the RCU thread really turned out bad and got really nasty.
