edit - after thinking about it some more, I remembered there were TWO of these planes. My friend bought both and sold the other to a clubmate. One was destroyed in a radio hit a year later or so. They were really fabulous planes.
One of them is still in Phoenix. It was the backup plane. It is owned by the president of East Valley Aviators.

I think either Dan or Bill Boice (they sold it back and forth) still has the other one, or at least he did last Thanksgiving '07 when I was down there at Remote Possibilities.

Also I must have been confused about one of them going in, I know a Radiocraft went in at the field around the time.

Regardless, they are very nice flying planes. Practically perfect.

I just had mine out of Friday after fully recovering the fuse. I missed it!

Guy's that plane is not Radiocraft, I have one Ser.#6, from Harry, servo cut outs are different, shape of open bays are different.

Kevin, not all Edges are single seat the Edge 540T is two seater.

It is the same as the one I built. Wings are the same, motor box parts are the same, cowl is the same, landing gear is the same ect,ect...

I think I take it back, I think Al is right, it does look like Radiocraft. What is trowing me off, mine does not have cut outs for the Rudder servos in back, under the elevator servos.
All else looks same.

modifications were made at different times during different production runs. even today we are always striving to improve products.

from the looks of the cowl and the landing gear plus the wing saddle location; it is a 300L
