if they give you another plane, i doubt they will, try three servos in the wing. i started with two servos in mine and didnt fly it because of the deflection in the middle of the aileron with rx power on.

i have flown my 44% edge with 6 servos in the wings and havent had a problem. i looked down inside my wings and they look pretty bare inside but i have flown a lot of unlimited sequences and done a lot of snaps and so far they are going well.

i have seen a few wings in my time that failed due aileron flutter and the damaged looks exactly like yours. sorry mate, three holes, three servos.

No doubt the cause is flutter. Go with 3 (the best available) servos !

I know of one here in Australia that has had the wings and stabs sent back due to issues with the hinges. It has not been flown as the problems where found during the build.

Thats a big wing...im not sure 2 8711s (or 8911 equivalent is enough) per aileron...

looks like flutter to me. another option would be to maybe exchange that throttle switch for a servo??? lol... just pokin' some fun lol! sorry for your loss. i would have used 3 servos in each wing.

If it has 3 holes, use em! Anybody know where I can get one of these in the States? Had the little one, traded it off, need the bigger one

You pretty much have to go direct to Xtreme Composite, BVM dropped the line and I don't recall seeing the big ones at Chief Aircraft.

What brand of servo arms were you using, the length of them and which hole did you have the pushrod on ?

Sorry for all the questions.

For the second one, I did a 180 turn and then followed an accelerating level flight again, the wing broke in the air too. Both plane had very short life, less than 5 take-offs and landings. Everybody, what do you guys reckon?

Definately gives new meaning to the word bent like a Banana!!

Sorry for your loss but as it has been previously stated, 3 holes in each wing means 3 servos, the bending loads in the middle must have been massive especially with no doagonal ribs in each aileron, go the HTHS-7955's they won't let you down!
