So where is the 09 huckfest, Rivercity or Orchard farms ? Rivercity is closer to STL but Orchard farms was the host of 08 huckfest b/c of flooding. Where are the powers that be gonna huck it this year ? River city is closer to me so I vote for another fantastic rivercity huckfest !!!!

Orchard Farms is hard to beat. The site is one of the best I've seen. but I too have no say! LOL

orchard farms is tough to beat and the hosts were SPECTACULAR! that was some of the best hospitality i have ever recieved from complete strangers! great choice mark! see y'all there!

(maybe larry will let me fly my old superxtra just one more time.....HINT, HINT!!!!! LOL)

Nothing at all againts rivercity...it is an AWESOME field, but YAY FOR ORCHARD FARM!!!
i cant wait, i'm super excited! I'm curious of how many people will show up since Rockford
is just a few hours away, and the dates are pretty close.
I guess we will see.

I think Rockford will pull more northern people while STL will pull more people from a little more south.

Then you got people like Matt that go to all of them...the lucky SOB...LOL

with the rockford and the stl... everybody shouldn't be "choosing" between one or the other.............. it is a no brainer...... GO TO BOTH or you are forever deemed lame!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

heehee.....I'm going to do EVERYTHING in my power to make it to both HF's...
I just started to realize what it will take to do so though!
Last year I swore that I would try out for the XFC, And I really want to stand by that

Not that i would even have a CHANCE at getting a spot, but at least I can say I tried!
either way, I wont miss that event, even If I dont get to compete.
I had planne on going to rockford also, but even if i DO get the money together for the trip,
my wife will be ROYALLY PISSED if i went to 3 fly-ins in the same month...............
My honey-do list would take over my intire summer!

Man up and quit yer wining, jeeeeeeeez, throw her an extra couple shots and she'll be fine, My wife drove my stuff all the way to cali for a flyin and even picked me up from the airport and delivered me to the flyin

. I had to give her a little extra, but it was well worth it

Yes that is a very inspiring story but MOST wives are not as dedicated and supportive as Patty, you are LUCKY and you know it.

yea man you gotta butter her up a little so she will support ya. heck she cleans the planes afterwards when she goes. heck I thought she was going to clean marks at the heatwave but a mid-day beverage was to much to ask I guess. hehehe
