Please forgive me this question but.....What is a Huckfest? I am just 2 1/2 hours away from both Rockford and Stl.
Have not had much time to do anything since I quit pattern in the 70s but now since retirement I would like to become aquainted with local activities again. Most of the fun flies and weekend events around here have dried up over the last few years.

Thanks,
John

HEY CRACKY..... see that you are from Wentzville, MO. I used to buy my pattern stuff at a great hobby shop there. The guy that ran it was named John and he was a pilot for some airline in Stl.
The shop went out during a divorce....too bad!

John,
The Huckfest is slang for party of the year. We just happen to have two of them really close to us! Bring everything you have that is flyable and Plenty of liquid fuel for your airplane and more importantly you after the flying is finished.
Oh yeah at St Louis all the fireworks you can light to! Only real rule is no bad tudes or the gate is that way.

John, Huckfests are a big fly-in where 3D and bas ass flying are encouraged. We got tunes playing on the stereo for you to mix up a freestyle in your mind. A little trash talking is also encouraged....I bet that FastFord will be given a pair of chin guards for the weekend.....girls----pink

Come on out. Its a grand time!

HF's are the true 3D pilot's graceland! I'm not quite sure how to describe them other than MAD flying in all directions with a ceiling of about 18 feet!!!! LOL

Hey tim if we can get andy to sponsor the bar hoping night again i think we might have round to of the floating tour bus. Hehe. That was awesome. Note to every one that the seat cushions on a bus unlike on a plane can not be used as a floation devise. I know this b/c at one point i was looking for the tag just in case.

Is it just me or is that guy abnormally huge, I mean tall, I mean GIANT!
I know at times when I am at the field when Jason is there my neck hurts at the end of the day.
