Hey fellas, this is Scott DeTray with Model Aero. First off, I'd like to say thanks to all you guys who supported the 1st Annual EROC Pylon Race!!! That was a hoot and watching the video just now reminded me just how cool it was.

Unfortunately, I'm going to be out of town the weekend of the Huckfest.

But all is not lost! I have enlisted Thistledowns club member Erin Walters to organize this years EROC. Erin is the gentleman in the wheelchair who raced in the event last year. I'm hoping to get a couple other club members to help out with the race also, and if anyone wants to step up from the Flying Giants to help, that would be awesome! The EROC was way to much fun not to do again, and I know you guys are "Can Do" people.

One thing we have discussed is opening the race to any type of electric plane under say, 20 oz. That way, more could participate.

Anyway, I hate that I can't be there, but I know the EROC is in good hands with Erin and the Flying Giants.

Got a ? for ya all...Since this will be my first Huckfest I thought I would ask. Is this going to be more like a "Fly-In" where you can fly when ever you want as long as there is a flight station open? Or, is it like a "fun-fly" with events? We can't make it there till Saturday afternoon and we will be staying till Sunday afternoon/evening.

Yes...you can fly whatever you want. The events don't take much of the flightline time away at all. 1 or 2 a day w/events. Bring it and fly!
