I have beat the living crap out of this airplane, so I decided to buy another for back up. The upright and inverted harriers are as good as you seen on the video, no wing rock at all. THIS PLANE ROCKS. Andrew Jeskey's got two.

Awesome fuselage pics, looks very light and I like how they used cross bracing to stiffen it up, you DON'T see that in other ARF's these days, it is very necessary IMO. Nice light motor box, and I dont see a bunch of double and triple ply in the firewall area. Well done J-TEC crew, it looks like a very nice piece of work although I didnt expect anything less considering how nice the ARC's are that I have seen.

P.S. AL my 2nd set of muff's are great, nice job. Thanks

Columbo,
You will be very happy with the 2.7m 300 for 3D. It is very stable and a whole lot of fun By the way, there is no h at the end of J-tec.

Thanks for the reassuring comments guys. Can't wait to fly the extra. The 88 Yak is coming along fine. I could be done with that in a few days, if I can keep myself from getting lazy. I usually only work on it for about 1-2 hours at a time and not even every day. However, I am starting to feel motivated to get this Extra finished by mid March, so hopefully I will be able to get started on the build in a couple weeks.

I never realized I had been spelling Jtec wrong.

Well it sounds like tech Mine came in at a bit under 27 lbs. with a DA-100. I now have a 3W 106 in it so it is around 27.5 lbs. I do mostly 3d and I can say I really don't notice the extra weight. With the wing area the plane is a floater.

Sorry to butt in but does anyone know the header drop for the 2.5 Jtec extra for a DA85 with a RE3 tuned pipe?

I believe it would be a 25mm drop but I am not positive. We have a wrap around pitts in our so we have not checked what drop it is.
