Plain old Elmer's or epoxy, either one will glue foam to wood.
My suggestion, get some block foam or a $5 foam cooler. Cut the foam to make the tail support. Don't mess up your trailer by gluing it down. Use the industrial velcro from Walmart, so you can change to different planes. |

What I did was use a Du-Bro Plane stand...remove one leg and use double sided velcro to hold it down to the trailer and long velcro to hold the tail down to the stand.

i use velcro straps. i put them thru slits in my shelf and literally make a full circle wrap around the back of the fuse. bolt the velcro to the floor (on each side of the fuse and stick together above the fuse) when the planes are kept on the floor of the trailer.....
gotta love the magical cloth....VELCRO!!!!!

I use a block of foam and use micro bungee's on the tail wheel to hold it. But recently saw another way a friend is doing it, he uses a block of foam then a padded velcro strap ( bolted to the floor) over the back of the turtle deck. The padding is a really soft lambskin pad made for Golf club bag straps. I am going to do mine this way, it's better than the way I do it now.
