Ok Greg,
I was hoping for today but it did not come. Last entry on tracking is that it left Brazil for the States on Friday....Next entry will be when it clears customs Miami then arrives here sometimes same day if early enough. So much for the Express part of EMS.

Pete you really need to try and get that linkage setup in a linear fashion before you program any throttle curves in. Get it set so at half stick the throttle is 1/2 open full stick is wide open, then its all just a matters fine tuning using the curve.

Great! That is one good looking airplane.

The way I set mine up is something that I read in an article: Connect everything, set the travels to achieve full movement, look at the end points, an example would be wide open is 114% low is 61%, add those (175) and divide by two, set each limit to 87 or 88, move the throttle stick to half, take the servo arm loose and move the throttle to half and reinstall the arm. Now you should have equal movement on each side of half, this makes any curve adjustments you need REAL easy. Typically when you set it up this way, you won't need any curve settings.

Yesir that will do it, I agree with you Bob throttle curve really most of the time is not needed, the only use where it would be handy in a fixed wing aircraft is for 3D to get that sweet spot for the hover where you like it on the stick..

I know it really doesn't matter, but the wind will be better on Sunday. The funky down drafts should be absent due to wind direction on Sun.
