Yes... another great day at SAM !
Was good to meet you Richard and Ricardo, and I can't remember the nice guys name with the H-9 Extra 260.
Hope to fly with ya again.

Was the second one to the field this AM.
No one gets there before George M.

Look at that one pic where the expert pilot is checking the wind sock before final !

Pete if the hole is to the rear do the tube modification and put the end in the fuse. I have a spare carb if you want to try it or I'll help you try to retune if you want.

Not a big fan of the carbon fiber plate? I took the plate off and the actual hole is in the center so reversing it won't help. On a side note this is the new carb the old carb (which walbro doesn't make anymore) has no hole.
Also Dick Bennet told me to use high temp locktite flange sealant 515 in taking it off the carb its all goey. What do you recommend (red gasket sealant that DA reccomends for the muffler?) Lastly I got a brass tube.... how about simple trick to bend that sucker 90 degrees with no kink...

Thanks

Pete I don't use any sealant on that cover. The edge of the diaphram is the seal.
As far as bending the tube with no kink fill it with sugar, salt , or fine sand and it will prevent a kink.
you could also cut the end of the tube at an angle and solder it on. This way you won't have to bend it.
