No one took a pic of Jason's Sukhoi SU34 EDF. That plane was neet with the thrust vectoring. It was cool when he walled it into that hover and the slow speed harriers were off the hook. That's one EDF I wouldn't mind haveing.

Update for Phil. The Rcexl ignition tester and hall sensor tester will not work with DA. We have found out that the DA sensor pick up is not the traditional hall effect sensor but rather an inductive type coil pickup.(diferent plumbing)

I have DA customers going ahead and picking up the mini tach anyway and using a separate hall sensor mounted next to their DA pickup to operate their Tach. The tach can and needs to be powered by a separate power source in this case. Power can come from an extra power lead off of one of your batteries or any source that is 3.5 to 8.4v.

Regarding using the ignition tester or hall tester on a CH, I have been informed that it will work technically but have not had any customer feedback since none have a CH to try it on and neither do I.

New 3W ignitions wont be able to be tested because they utilize a 4 wire harness. Again, Rcexl was building equipment to support their line when designing, not a universal tester.

When you gonna have that DDD event?

Richard this is some good info.
I need to pick up a tach from you.
We're still trying to figure out a date for the DDD event.
By the way HAPPY BELATED BIRTHDAY
