Thats a true "Flying giant"! 110" of pure heavy metal NICE! It looks like that might be a future halftime show! Top gun Team USA is looking very strong with that Monster. Captain Jason Bauer gave it the thumbs up, that says it all.

The warbird event, as always, was a blast! Ray's Moraine Saulnier with the handbuilt rotary was VERY IMPRESSIVE! The unmistakeable sound of a rotary.

What a great club we have!!!

Got the new spark plug installed last night and today on the way home I stopped by the mower shop and got a carb kit and just finished installing it and remounted the carb.
I am gonna lobby real hard for some free time this weekend !

I also tore down the DL-50 from the Sukhoi yesterday.
It looks surprisingly good inside.
There are a couple rough spots on the crank bearings.
If I can come up with 2 new bearings and the rear of the crankcase (broken mounting ear) I am gonna put it together and fire it up on a test stand.

At least we know that you can build something (just kidding ) Your right about small world though. I bought two ziroli corsairs in two weeks. The guys I bought them from were both from Brooklyn. From my Dad's neighborhood. One used to live right around the corner from him!
