Taking foamie with me and stopping at the field on the way back.Have to be at the office for lunch.Chris is in Leeburg for the annual bike ride.

I'm still loaded, so I will be there.
I took the carb off the Yak and put in another diaphram and pump from another carb. Also cleaned the main body out and blew everything out with compressed air. I hope it works tomorrow, four dead sticks from going lean was enough. The needles had no effect on mixture. I need to get a rebuild kit for that Emas.

Hey Carl whats up?
The family and I are going to come down there for a 10 day vacation at the end of this June. My Aunt and Uncle are letting us use their Condo down in Lakeland. I have a 3D foamy that I am binging along, so I will try and make it out to S.A.M. and if it's okay, I'd like to fly with you guys as a guest.

Hey maybe we could all get together and go out to lunch or something. Also as far as the kid's they are growing fast!! Joey is past my waist and Josh is close to 5 feet tall now! Also, Joey is now in Kindergarten and will be starting the 1st grade next year and Josh will be starting in Middle school next year as well.

After stripping the carb down at the field yesterday, including welsh plugs, I couldn't find any parts for it.

When I got home I found some carb kits for the Tillotsons on my 200's and the welsh plugs were the right size.

yippee

I recleaned the carb body since it was totally stripped, staked in the new plugs and reassembled with old diaphrams from original carb. Installed carb and tested this morning with C.J.'s help. Neighbors not happy, but I am.

I can now get both needles to go to rich setttings and no more sag on high end. Needles are still set a little rich,but will adjust them after cowl is installed and a few flights to fine tune.

YES. For some reason it just started to run lean and quit. Turning the needles had no effect. It gave me dead stick practice for the balance of the year.
