Greg,

I got the final parts from troy built. We'll see how their new prop works out. Finished the painting yesterday. Now I just have to remount the engine, do the linkages and the final adjusting. Jason was right about the 12x once you get that everything fails by comparison. You can't even compare it to the 9303. I'll have to find the link for you to get new fuel can with the pump. With the gas tank on that monster La-7 your going to need it. You'll have to get it soon so you have it for top gun. You don't want an old jacked up gas can for top gun do you?

I'll pass on the flashlight run... still have mine and it still works on the SAME batteries !

I'll most likely fly on Sunday, stop by and see Crystal and be home in time for the green flag.

Sunday it is.
A good morning of flying and a good meal with good friends, can't ask for anything else.

Here's a couple of pics of the color scheme. The plane had a good presence in the air with this scheme. It should make a fantastic social flyer. The 37.5% flew like a giant foamy in Dave's hands.

Man that guy Plane Bender- is one unbelievable demo pilot isn't he? What a joy to watch!
I got one flight in at FX3D and had to use the ignition kill to land er in that stupid blistery wind, since my Spectrum throttle servo stopped working. I'm going to try and change out this weekend-but we have received a few orders this week- Orlando , Brazil, California & Illinois.
Carl, I don't recall bumping into you at FX3D!??
I plan to call you next week after work for that drive by with the warbird pilot in tow.

I concure about Dave and there were a lot of talented piots at the event. Just wish I had the skills, but I still have fun. Homer and I stayed on the move most of the morning and left right at lunch time. We did touch base with Donnie and Lou. You need to come out to the field and share some airspace with us. The club Pres. would still like you to show off the pilot at the meeting on the 21st, if you have some free time then. That way the majority of the warbird pilots will see it.

Dittos to the talented pilots. To the point of some just being real young whipper-snappers at that!
We didn't pull up to the event till about noon - would explain that.
I'll put the 21st on the calender! Great idea.
