After Ocala we need to start making plans for JOE NALL!
C.J. is checking on what days his final exams are on, so we can plan on when we can leave.
Going to camp at the Nall this year. We miss out on to much after dark activities. What do we do when we stay in the cabin or a hotel? Go out to dinner and then watch TV. It should be more fun to stay at the Nall and night fly,(foamy) and if we get bored(not likely) we can still run to town eat and come back and watch TV. (have 12v. portable)

Did anyone hear about the guy that was hurt at Central Florida Sport Flyers ? I heard a helicopter did a number on him, pretty bad damage to his arm and hand. Don't have any details, that's all I heard.

Jim going to take the trailer. I can fit your planes in there too.

Maybe we can meet for breakfast in Winter Garden again and caravan to Ocala?
Maybe if Sass was going, it might get Sandy to go and have a day off.
They could talk about things concerning Pops... and of course we will entertain them with our flying.
Always a well put on show there !

Jim

Steve was saying it was one of the best he has ever had. It seems you are pumping herculean scale building at SAM to immense proportions. Phil and the guys told me that can't wait to see that monster La-7 fly.
Yes, Arnold it's truely herculean!!! I'll get some pictures for you tonight!!!

Okay, now it's time to start on the hinges and control horns.
Get all the BS out of the way.
That cowl will be stuffed full in a few days.

I know what caused the DL100 to sag and dead stick. When C.J. flew it ,it was a little fat on the low end. I told him to lean it a 1/16 and that is why. The low end needle plays a major part of the high end on this carb and I forgot that and to tell him to richen the high end a 1/4 turn to compensate. After the high end was richened the problem was solved. I still can't believe the low needle adjustments affects the high end so much.
