Hey S.A.M. Homies

Rcwarbirds is a pretty cool site. I sent a few of my photos in of my "PUP" over a year ago. I believe my photos are still in there under WW1 section. Cool idea about the warbird website! I'm on vacation beginning next Saturday, March 21st. Plan on pretty much living at the field and catching up with everyone. Gotta knock the rust of my thumbs.

Carl, you know what that means? Lot's of wind when I'm on vacation!

Damm you can't take a vacation, look what happens when you take a day off!

I already put an advance deposit on good weather when you told me. I'm going to do my best to share some weekday airtime with you, even if it has to be a .40 glow plane.

Just couldn't get motivated. I was out there early too. Just must have looked at too many blueprints the last couple of days, just tired.
Bobo didn't fly either.

Rich F. had a new Italian WWI plane out today for it's maiden flight. The plane looked awesome. It's been a four year building project. The side mounted bombs even worked. It's going to be his Top Gun plane. That guys a true builder not a wannabe. Again no pics, but Derrick took some. Maybe he'll have it out there tomorrow, so you can see it.

George M. finally got the 300 Saito in his Patty running strong. He got a few good flights in before I left. Great power, but that motor shure drinks the fuel.

Remind me that I have your charger and battery you left there last week.

Jim have you decided on what type of batteries you are going to use in the Snake?
If you go A123's get a switch with a Deans charge port. I'm going to change mine. Even though they're Smart Fly a regular servo lead plug can't handle the charge amps.
