Hey dolittleraider. Yes it Roamin Research plans.
That is great news someone else is currently in the process.!! Have a link to that RCU build thread?
Precision Cut Kits turned plans into a kit for me.

As for when to be completed, well I'm actually too busy making pilots to build my own. Dressin' out an ARF is one thing -but framing and sheeting- is sure nuff not possible on my itinerary at this time.
Okay with me if you ask Matt on the build thread when he thinks he will have it complete!

Nice wide open field guys - and building structures- - OMG!!
Who is the building contractor in your club?

Have to order up some more of that gorgeous sky too when FFAA invades!

That really turned out to be a Sweet Helmet Head install! Thanks Fishdeth for posting TEKE pics!

All the comforts of home. It's so comfortable sometimes the planes never leave the trailer, only if you sit down first.

Damm Jim , Im jealous my pilot got more exposer than me. I know he's better looking, but!

The video was awesome . Voo Doo put on a good show as usual.

C.J. and I wanted to join you at Flagler but time constraints put the squash on that trip. New Living room furniture was being delivered and had to set up for Super Bowl party.
Next Time!

Jim,
Great pictures!! Thanks for posting them sir.

Carl,
That pilot looks great in the Yak. It looks like it was moulded in at the factory.

jaguar bone,
I have seen pictures of your scale pilots and I just wanted to say, they look Top Shelf!!! Excellent work!
And don't feel bad about not having enough time to build your kit, I have a Composite Arf 2.3m Extra that has been waiting to get finished for well over a year and a half LOL.

Which reminds me, I need to post some pics of the build progress so far on my Compy.

Shawn

Hey Carl.... and others,

DL Engines available from TBM

DL Engine Performance: TBM has tested many engines over the years, and DL is one that has performed very well in our tests and in the marketplace. Their low price is really attractive!! Hundreds of engines have been sold and all performance issues have now been sorted out. While DL engines are excellent, service and warranty are important aspects. Please read the service and warranty information provided below.
DL Warranty: DL engines are guaranteed to be free of mechanical (not electrical) defects at the time of purchase. If you have a defective part at the time of purchase, TBM will replace the part. The defective part must be returned unless a photo will suffice. Please call the TBM returns department before returning anything. The customer is responsible for the shipping charges for returning the defective part to TBM (if necessary) and the shipping charge of the new part to the customer. There is no warranty on ignitions because they are electrical and can fail if they see more than 6v.
Repair service center: TBM does not have repair facilities for any brand of engine. We refer you to Ed Gamils for repairs. Deal directly with Ed for pricing on repairs.

Ed Gamils
701 Royal Poinciana
Punta Gorda, Fl 33955
egamils@hotmail.com
941-575-8047

Factory Authorized DL Service from TBM: In order to provide superior service to DL customers, TBM is now factory authorized to service DL engines in Sarasota Florida. TBM will provide warranty work as well as repairs after warranty. Standard labor and shipping rates apply. TBM will service all DL engines, not just the ones sold by TBM.

Spare Parts for DL engines: TBM carries all spare parts for the engines.

Why purchase DL engines from TBM? The manufacturer sets the retail pricing, so the pricing should be similar from any source. TBM offers a few extra incentives to purchase from time to time, so check our website and sign up for our newsletter. If you see a price that is better than ours, please let us know and we will match that price.

Jim,

That's great news for all the DL owners out there. The guys at TBM are great to deal with too.

Donnie any Sunday would be good. C.J. has to work on Saturdays and I would like for him to join in the fun. Maybe you can rekindle the r/c spark in him again. I think we bore him since we don't challenge his skills.
