Spent the day partying with family, just got home.... I'm pooped and I have nothing ready or charged !

Well we invaded Mid Fla. again today. Overall it was a good day. The weather was just what we ordered. The rain held off till late and only rained for 15 min or so.
The ruway there is 100 ft wide and somehowI managed to catch the bushes at 102 ft. Dont ask me how, for I was totally surpised when it happened. I guess I was so fixated on the plane checking sink rate after relocating some batteries, I didn't relize I was so close to the bushes. The plane fliped and dented the cowl and the paint chipped. I think my butt glowed red through my jeans from embarasment at the moment. I'll patch it up for the next time and try to stay out of the bushes.
Again a heart felt Thanks to Mid Fla. for the Hospitality. I'll try not to trim the bushes the next time.

Carl you were cursed. The first thing Tony said to me this morning was that the weeds were getting high. I thought to myself thats gonna hurt somebody.

The bad thing is I wasn't going to land yet and Dave didn't say anything,he thought I was going to wall it into a hover. I just had tunnel vision and didn't even notice how close to the ground I was.

Where have you been hiding? With all the rain I guess you're going to RCACF or Ocala. I was going to ask you to go to Flagler with us untill I relized there were methane vents all over. Not a good mix with turbines.
