Any idea what caused the plane to go in to the wires Jim?

Far as I can tell, during the hard fast snap, the rudder pull pull wire pulled out of one of the crimps, and I think I lost an aileron servo ???

So you found a 2.4 Rec for it? or did you pull one out of another plane?

I found two seven channel RX's and a few satelites in a box. I put one of them in just to fly it.
CJ put my spare nine channel in his Bamph and I didn't feel like taking it out.

Having the bottom right wing carcass to view the strut tab shows that it is angled and all the way through the wing.
So I glued the cracked areas real good then carefully drilled and glued in some 2mm CF rod.
SUPER strong !

Gotta be sure to laterally balance the finished plane.

The tabs on the wings where the interplane struts attach were slightly damaged / cracked.
I showed a pic of the broken wing to let you see that strut tab and how it looks UNDER the covering.
It was very handy to have a wing carcass to see how to effectively repair the other wings without having to totally peel off all the covering.

As long as my parts arrive today or tomorrow..... then ABSOLUTELY !
Everything is done except repairing the wheel pants and some cosmetic stuff.
I can't WAIT to fly this thing again !
No more fast snaps on high rates...

If you are looking at a 50cc Sukhoi, I highly reccomend the Wild Hare SU-26.
The price is MUCH better too.

Jim
