Rockford Huckfest June 19/20/21

Welcome to all

Rockford, IL. and the Rockvalley RC Flyers are proud to Host the 1st of five in 09 Flying Giants Huckfest series.
This is going to be BIG so don't be left out, BE THERE ! The boyz from Illinois will show you a good time. We have a Fantastic field with not one flight line but TWO, EW and NS, huge sun shade, covered pavillion, fire pit and plenty of room for motor homes and camping.

Remember this is the air field where the 70% Staudacher made her first and only flight, you can watch the video clip at our web page.

can't wait guys! just about an hour and a half from my house! finally a HF that i don't have to travel 100's of miles to! Al and the guys will put on a great event i can assure everyone! i look forward to seeing all of you guys there!

Hey Guys

As part of this Rockford,IL. Huckfest we are trying to help out the community by also Hosting a food drive.
Working with the Northern Illinois food bank, we ask that each of you bring one can food item for donation. No big deal , right?

Let's show the public how cool Pilots are !

that is a great idea and i would be proud to be apart of it. my guess is we will get substantially more than a can per pilot brought in!!!!!! sounds like a challenge eh????

yeah i was thinking a trip to costco or similar, and a whole flat of cans. really cheap in the grand scheme of things, if you ask me.

Since our field was the site of the 70%'s first record flight I think we need to set the record for the world's largest hover gaggle.I would like to set the bar high with at least ( 25 ) planes hovering together and work our way up from there. What do you guys think??

I'm going to do EVERYTING in my power to be there! money is tighter than ever this year,
so its going to be tough...But i will try to find a way to make it.
as of today, I'm starting a "get Jared to Rockford" fund, all donations welcome! mwahahaaa

IT'S to early to post all the goodies we have over and above what FG brings to the table
but if you miss this you will be sorry, Trust me on this.

I am still flying a Yak. Got this one RTC from a guy in Tenesee. My original Yak got damaged last year due to a fuel tank failure. I am rebuilding the motor box and center fuse with new foam parts. Will be the same colors with a little different look. Also flying a Carden Extra 300 40%. Hope to enter a IMAC contest this year. Jerry
