Default Airworld Modellbau? Anyone tried them?

Hey guys,

I was wonderng if anyone here has tried a kit from Airworl Modellbau.

http://www.airworld.online.de/Englisch/Index.htm

Their kits look nice, but they don't show any of them in kit form. I was wondering about weight, quality, and how well they are designed. I'm specifically looking at their Sukhoi......since there are so few to no kits on the market anymore.

Thanks Guys,

Neo Out!!!!

i have the Katana t30 from airwold its full composite the kit weight was 6,2 kg all in white, but a bit of work is to be done with epoxying the control horns and frame stuff, i have made those areas stronger with honneycomb for a more strong attachement for the robart hings.

Well, all I can say - bed story!
I bought Su 26 kit basing on the kit kontent described in their web page. In spite of this there were no spinner, no canopy frame, and no kevlar. Only the price was right....
I made a claim, wait over one month and finaly after few phone calls I got the answer: they will not deliver the canopy frame - I should make by my own, there is no kevlar and there will be no spinner as well....Very nice!
The only positive result is that they have changed description in their web page day before yestrday.
I know the guy who has bought Gee Bee in this company and still is waiting for landing gear...
So, be carfull. Kit is no bed, but you can not compare it with Comp Arf quality! Absolutly no - for the same money you are getting in CA outstanding quality and of the model and hardawre. It is also much more work, comparing with CA models.
I am just working on Su - 26 - should fly in the early spring - let you know if you like
all the best - Wojtek
