JEEZ...that's some killer vid! Wish I could fly like that...one day maybe.

Maybe you are refering to the 500cc Ultimate, that is the biggest bipe that I myself have seen video of. The link is in here somewhere, I'll try to find it.

The plane showed up earlier in the week. I've got a few bits and pieces done as well as getting the motor mounted tonight.

I know a couple of guys back in Europe who have got these airframes flying well but they do require you to get the set up spot on.

The comp python is the same wing as this and they just clip the tips.

Correct, same airfoil, Standard M-12 is 107" ws and the Python is 99" ws, they clipped a little more than just the tips, plus the standard M-12 is 105" long and the Python is 98" long so not exactly the same plane. Although, I didnt know you could get the standard M-12 version with a single place canopy from the Python version, but then I never asked either, was that a special request or is it an option they offer now. Was there a price difference? Cool look, Ive never seen a standard M-12 w/single place B4.

I have stumbled across it a couple of times, it's a Pitts with a red white and blue starburst scheme. I think the video is taken in Germany. There are three guy's around this thing and it's huge. I can't remember what I typed in to find it but it's on there.

If you thumb through those clips, you will actually see a video of Mark Trents Python...all red.

On the search at the top of this page type in "Bob Trueworthy 50%" and you will find the video of his 50% Pitts Python he built.

Mine was ordered as a python but they build the wing as the 12, then clip it. As the colour scheme came out so nicely, it seemed a shame to clip the tips. My comp arf rep told me there was no difference in the fus, other than the single seat canopy. I was keen to stay with the look of the single seat, added to the fact it gave me far less canopy to glue - which isn't a fun job on a comp arf.

As mentioned, I know guys back in Europe who have got theirs dialled in nicely for 3d on the 12 wing, so I happy with things.

I haven't yet. This is the first place. We can talk about how you would want it (complete or just Airframe) if you like.
