Default 3D Hobby Shop Planes at Embry-Riddle

Well Flying Giants as many as you know I am attending Embry-Riddle at the Daytona Campus. When I came to this school last fall I knew it being a aeronautical school and I would def. see Radio Control Airplane pilots. Well about a month being here back in August I met a group that lives just two floors down from me. Four guys down there all flew RC planes. One of the guys had a 3D Hobby Shop Velox. He let me test fly it and I was amazed how it flew. (first 3D hobby shop I have flown) A couple of months passed and we would all take our planes out to the soccer field right beside our dorm room and fly what we had. I flew my glow stuff. (I had no electric) I was some what jelous that my friend had this machine. He never did have to clean it or take it apart to put it in his room!
Well another month passed and this same guy purchased a 3D hobby shop Extra SR. He let me test fly that and the day I touch the sticks for that plane I knew I had to get one!!! So over Christmas I was lucky enough to get the AJ slick. And so far this year I am enjoying a non messy plane!!! Another guy here was sooo impressed how mine flew and my friends and he went out and order the 3D hobby shop small Edge.
So every day after class (and home work ) we go out to the soccer field with several charged batteries and fly all of them at the same time. What a blast we have. Several people from the Daytona area that is not apart of the school come up to watch and ask questions about the hobby. And many ERAU students come up wanting to know how these planes can stand such stress!

Thanks 3D Hobby Shop for the great small electrics you make!!!

ha ha dont worry it is actually big enough for a 33% I believe. But I dont have the guts to pull my 33% out of the trailer and fly it there. We have flown 120 size glow planes there before with no problem.

If 50cc is too big, then the 70" size coming sometime in spring/summer 09 will be perfect! .
