I might try. It sucks I have to fly on Saturdays and we only get a certain amount of days to miss. Hopefully I can come up with a good excuss!

I will probably be flying one of the testbed planes . the little pilot Yak w/Mt 57. O r maybe the 42% magic hand. Hey I still cannot get that sig to upload. Do you have it as a picture file

I am planning on it. May be the first contest I attend this year...Still not sure if I can make it to Amps. Flying the 3 meter Comp-Arf Extra again this year.

I want to welcome all to Venice IMAC this year. Friday is designated for practice day. One giant issue is the recycle center west of the flight line No Fly Zone. Last year on Friday we had people flying over the maintenence building which did not go over well with the county and almost resulted with the canceling of future IMAC events at our field. We have one of the best flying facilities in FLA. Lets keep it going! For those that are traveling the Holiday INN Express has reserved a block of rooms for us at a discounted rate of $129.00 regular $171.00 941-584-6800 mention Venice IMAC. This is the busy season they fill up quick. Looking forward to a great event! Please register with IMAC, helps us out.

Paul I wish I could make it down there for your event. With school, work, and all of the events I may have to take time off to go to, it would be tough. I think I may try to make the NATS this year. I hope you get a good turn out and good weather.

Ya know.. I lived down there for 4 years, and flew out at the Sarasota dump. When I was there, no one was into IMAC at all. After I leave, the Sarasota field becomes a model heaven, and Venice a center for IMAC..

Go figure..

I have wanted to come down, since my parents are in Sarasota still.. But alas, kids, and other things are going to prevent.

Ugh I just checked my schedule and I have a final the day of the venice imac. What time does it start on saturday?

The flight line will be open all day! I will be out there early setting up. We will have spotters for friday and a vehical out west of the flight line for visual guide so pilots stay away from the recycle center. We have to adhere to club policy.
