I never had problems with digital Hitecs centering, but I wish they had better resolution. This is with the 5000 series though; I'm eager to try some 7000's.

The only Hitecs I've ever had problems with centering were the 225mg's.

You all have waited this long, it's not like the world will end if you wait a bit longer..

I get a laugh out of the "I CAN"T WAIT ANY LONGER" comments.

At the rate it's going it'll be to late for the regular flying season in the midwest.............picked up Futaba 9157's as an alternative, using a Powerbox Royal for programming.

If you really need the servo, go for futaba 9157 or JR 8711HV. .

I like the 9157....but the weight of the powerbox to use it against a smartfly with Hitechs is my issue. .not cost

Why do you have to use a Powerbox with it? The Smartfly items will work with futaba servos.

I thought they could not do the volts....ill double check.. I actually like the powerbox but im trying to keep the weight right down... my last plane I went overboard and it was basically a "cargo carrier". trying to not add any weight I dont need to..
As for the Futaba servos.. have them in most of my other aircraft and are really happy.

Also have Hitech and the 5955s are great
